The Israeli - Palestinian conflict

i made this thread because i was curious to hear people's opinions about the Israeli- palestinian conflcit.

as my avatar suggests, i have a special interest in hearing people's opinions about it.

here are some of the subjects i am more interested to hear about-

-1948 war
-refugees
-terrorists/freedom fighters
-the west bank
-pallywood
-how to work out a peaceful solution

i ask all who post here to TRY and write constructive comments, i will NOT tolerate any posts in the likes of "get outta palestine i dont wanna talk to you evil occupier blah blah!"

 

Heres a suggestion, stay in your own country.

 

This whole thing started because greed. Israel Should have no right over Palestinian land as they arent the original owner, nor did they legally buy the land. They came in took what they wanted and stayed. They kill Inocent Civilians, They destroy Buildings, Etc.

I Support the Hamas. They are doing whats right, fighting back for thier land. Until Israel Finds some reasonable treaty in which they give palestinians thier rights, They Are wrong. In an Ideal world palestinians and israelies could get along, But this isnt an ideal world. America Supports Israel, America Practically owns the world.

Imo Israel is just a strategic point for the U.S. It is in the Heart of the Middle East, America can now get closer on what I believe Is corruption to the Middle East. I Hope This topic is raised more, But sadly, the damage has already been done.

Palestinians have suffered enough.

magic arrow- i'd love to discuss the points you mentioned, but you reluctance to even recognise basic historic facts (the jewish immigrants did, infact, buy some land in that area, and they didnt "come, take what they could, kill the palestinians, and stay")

you also refuse to even consider a peaceful solution, which is disgusting by all points of view.

i'll accept your preposition, and ill stay at MY country, here in the middle east.

 

It's one of the most serious crises there is. Israel is in violation of international humanitarian law, according to the international court of justice. Israel has consistently rejected settlements, the US has consistently supported this, using veto power to support Israel's interests.

 

while i do agree that israel is often in violation of international humanitarian law it is worth mentioning that these laws were obviously written by people with no understanding of these kind of conflicts, any attempt to ease the suffering of the palestinian civillian population results in the various palestinian terrorist organisations exploiting it (for example pregnant women were used many itmes to try to pull off suicide attacks, as we are obliged to let them pass in the checkpoints)

i am also troubled by the fact that the UN takes every chance it has to condemn israel for it's humanitarian violations, and it remains systematically silent after the Hamas rocket attacks. (they keep firing these things, even with the ceasefire usually signed, and our government is stupid enough not to retaliate because it fears how the world will react to it)

i really would hope to see a way to refrain from harming the civillian population in Gaza, but it is difficult to do so when the Millitants are attacking from populated areas, and sometimes use civillians as human shields as seen in these images-





as you can clearly see, any attempt to attack the armed millitant (which is NOT in violation of international law as far as i know) will result in civillian casualties.

and after this happens, the palestinians always run to the already trigger-happy western media and tell them about israel intentionally massacaring innocent civillians who didnt do anything wrong.

to be honest i see that as a cynical way to take advantage of international law

 

Listen, this has been made numerous times and ends up with the right one winning - Palestine. Israel steals, lies, and has been banished for ages.

 

so far all i've seen is whining, not winning

the reason sao many people are so pro-palestinian is because the palestinians fake so many alleged "crimes" that israel supposedly commited, and the western media is happy to publish those

look up "pallywood" on youtube and you'll find that-

- the muhhamad dura killing was fabricated

- palestinains faked alot of deaths in the alleged massacre at the Netzarim junction (where allegedly over 30 died)

- that the palestinians fake murders as a method, it is a well organised system with directors, camera men and actors.


after that, come back here, look at my face honestly and say that we "lie".


it is amazing how nearly no post here so far managed to write a well thought idea that came to less then "you steal, lie, get out of palestine!"

but i dont find it as a surprise.
