Paypal question.

Hello, I'm ever so sorry if this is the wrong section on the forums but I'm still learning my way around lol. Please move if it's in the wrong place :s

Anyway I was wondering how exactly paypal works. I have an account and it's linked to my bank account. Do I just give someone my email for them to pay me? And does the payment go through instantly?

If your account is linked to your bank account you can do any of the following to pay someone:

A) Transfer money from your bank to your PayPal account (Takes 3-5 days)
B) Send an eCheck which takes 3-5 days to clear.

To receive money from someone just give them your PayPal linked E mail address. To check your history of payments/income it's on the main page once you log in to PayPal.

Actually if someone wants to send you money, all you do is give them your paypal email address and it sends it to your paypal balance. From your paypal balance you request a Bank withdrawal which usually takes 3-5 days.
