    People have been doing this for years... That's why you transfer during a runescape update, or wait an extra length of time before transferring.

    There is still a chance a name can be sniped even during an update. I had one stolen a couple months ago when I tried this. Best bet is to wait MONTHS after the name is RTT tbh.

    Actually it's only been happening for like a year :/
    But yeah that's good advice. Its a shame too :(
    Just got back from a long work trip and i was hoping to buy a new name for my summ tank!

    No, it definitely has been going on for more than a year. Like they were saying just only transfer during runescape updates.
