Buying xbox 360 disk drive.

Well title says it all. I need an xbox 360 disk drive, not a hard drive. My friend's broke so i need one. Anyway... I want it intact, no wires ripped off, I want pictures taken of it with your sythe name for proof that you have it. I would prefer that you didn't open it so the parts don't get screwed up, most people don't know how to work the inside of machines so it would be better not to be touched. If i do buy from you i need it to be well packaged with tons of bubble wrap so it doesn't get messed up. So.... yeah... let me know.

English, what i need you to do, take off the outside plastic of the xbox, and there will be a white box, i would like a picture of that with your sythe name please.

 

I got a BenQ and I know how to take it out. I also have a flashed BenQ. Offer for either?

 

I have 6 different Drives, BenQ/samsung, hitachi, Lite-on all available. Which one are you looking for?

Also, do you know how to flash a DVD drive? You have to get the key off of the current drive and flash it to the new Drive in order for it to work properly. If you need to find someone who can do that, we can arrange something and I'll do it for you. I work on Xbox's Locally, Repairing them, Firmware Flashing/Modding, and JTAGing.

Yes i know how to do it, but will it matter what drive I use on the xbox or can I use any brand?

 

I actually repair xbox's ect with 3 rrod and i also fix the disc drives, If you think your going to slap the disc drive in the xbox and expect it to work then you are mistaken. you have to open both disc drives and you should have a Mainboard, unclip it and remove all the tags that go into the various ports (disconnect these from the board and not the drive itself) The only Tag that should be left with the board is the one that slotted into the laser. connect the board once the other board is removed from the New disc drive and put the old board into the New disc drive and it Will work provided its the same model ect. Otherwise you will have to eather flash the drive to find the key and spoof the new drive to that key. Thats because each disc drive is unique to the specific xbox I may have a disc drive that you require but i live in the UK so maybe not, Your welcome for the help and good luck

It doesn't matter what drive you have in there right now, you can go from lite-on to hitachi or from lite-on to benq, it just doesn't matter. Is there a specific type you'd want?
