Both characters have many PVP and PVE achievments along with 20k gold. The shaman is horde and the warlock is alliance, therefore you have 2 faction and class options. The shaman has PVP gear for all specs (Enhance, Resto and Elemental), though Elemental and Resto are my 2 best geared specs for PVE and PVP. If your interest is PVE, the shaman has great PVE gear and as long as you know how to play an Elemental, you will always push 6k+ dps. The warlock has great PVE gear as well and has the gear for all 3 specs.
