Wow? Problems with new computer

Okay guys i got a brand new computer. It runs Windows Vista Home Premium. I connect to my wireless network on my computer through a linksys connection thing that you plug in through the USB port. I just want to note my router which is netgear works perfectly fine. I know this because right at this moment im on my laptop on the connection wirelessly. This is a very peculiar problem because i CAN connect on it on the new computer. It says everything works. So when it loads up it goes to google loaded perfectly. I then want to go to any other website say for example yahoo or ask they dont work. Only google works for some reason. There is another problem i have; I have on it a dvd/cd-rom and a rewritable rom. When i put in a disk of any sorts it dosent read it. When i look in computer on vista i see only one disk drive on it. The other is not there. And when i put a music cd or any other cd in either of them they say nothings in them. I looked in device manager and it says everything works properly for networking and disk drives. Im clueless about what to do next. Does anyone have any ideas? By the way my new computer is now 2 days old. I ordered it from ibuypower.com. Does anyone have any ideas because im very mad because the computer is brand new and doesn't work.
