Hello, and welcome to my first guide on Sythe. Today, i'll be talking about 'How to catch a MSN imposter' I'm not sure if this is the right section to post it, if not please move it. Now i'll be showing you techniques to catch a MSN imposter! This may save you in the near future!

>How they add you:
Now many of you have probably had a selling/buying thread here on sythe. Alot of people leave their msn open to the world, to say add me if your selling/buying 'bla bla bla' and then they do! Now imposters play very technically. I recently have been targeted by an imposter, and I now decided to teach you guys techniques to catching them!

>First when you create a thread; for example:



In this image, you can see im buying accounts with 100M + on them. This is when the imposter targets me! They usally go for the trades worth alot! After you have created a thread an imposter will mostlikly add you on MSN. Make sure you say 'Post before adding my MSN' This will give them a less likely chance of them getting YOU!

>What they usally say to you that influences them:
Most imposters 'fake' to be the real deal. Duh!, for example R2Pleasent is selling RSGP. Of course his going to have imposters because his famous for his GP selling. His imposters will copy his msn to the limit they can to make it look similar!

Here are common things imposters would say;
Imposter > Hey are you selling/buying 'Item name'
You > Yes, your the Market mod arn't you!
Imposter > Yes, haha, I'll post on sythe its me!
You > Sweet, sounds good. If your post goes through i'll go first!
Imposter > Oh dang, my sythe isn't work at this moment. Would you like to use a MM of my choice?
You > Um only if you pay the fees.
Imposter > Sorry I am not paying the fees, your buying the item, so you pay the fees. Unless you trust me. You can go first. Look at my sythe history of trades. All smooth!
You > Okay, yes. Your trusted, so lets do this!

Boom! You have been scammed! Then this is what happens;

Yep, you've been tricked!

>How to check if the MSN your talking to is the real deal;
Now the best way is to type the msn address your talking to in Google. This will show you links, and if these links do not match up with the user on sythe. Its defenetly a imposter

Note here, you cannot see the '@live.com' Highlighted. That means its an imposter!

>Tips!
Now don't fall for little thing such as 'My sythe's not working, Sythe's down.

ALWAYS make sure the msn is correct! Even if it means doing this; Copying and pasting the MSN on the sythe fourm! and copying the msn on the person who added you! Then put it into Microsoft word and work out if its real or not!

If you don't want to get scammed, take the time to check if its a imposter! For your own safety!
