If it's common knowledge then why doesn't everyone do it? Why do people buy gold if they can flip?

 

Because merchanting is based on Capital? Larger the capital the larger the profit? To have a ROI of 100% it takes at least a month. Why not just buy it and invest it? Why do people buy BTC instead of mining it themselves with one computer?
