What is Pawngame?
Pawngame is a 2D, online, multiplayer shooter game.
We have a main lobby where you can make your own maps, chat with other players, get your rank up or just waste the day away.
Pawngame also has their own forums where you and other players can discuss and show off your topics.
This is also the place to go if you would like to sign up for our group memberships, submit your map to be created, join a clan, or participate in any of our tournaments.
Please read the Rules before playing or posting.

What and who are Moderators/Administrators?
Administrators are the people who keep this site up and running.
They fix bugs, server maps, upgrade, and choose the moderators. Admins are recgnoizable by this icon next to their name:
On forums their names are Green and in game they are Yellow
The two Co-Creators of the game are: Blank101 and JP

Now to talk about Moderators, or 'Mods' for short.
Moderators are the 'police of pawn' [according to Greb]
They enforce the rules, and have the power to ban any rulebreakers. Scroll down to see more on banning, infractions, and referrals.
Moderators can be recognized this icon next to their name:

Their names show up Red both in game, and on the forums. Report any hacking, swearing, racism, spamming etc.. to the moderators.
To report a hacker follow this guideline, provided by HonorP00ner. If a Moderator is not on please Private Message a Pawn Assistant on Chat or on the forums. All Pawn assistant's names will be Bright Blue on forums.

ºAmmo Refill/Health Refill: Press [E] When near an Ammo Crate. They look like this:

ºMessage Your team in game: Press [L] When playing a game before typing your message. When you are typing it will show on bottom screen. Press enter to send message. Message will Appear on Top in your TEAM COLOR:
ºMessage Everyone in game: Press [K] When playing a game before typing your message. When you are typing it will show on bottom screen. Press enter to send message. Message will Appear on Top:

ºChange your Purchased Weapon: Press [1-0] On Keyboard, or use the Scroll Wheel.

How to Rank
Play Ladder Games they will look like this:


You will not be able to see how many points you have until you have surpassed 1000 pts.

Each Kill you make is +10 towards your total score
Everytime you die 3 pts are taken from your score

At the end of each game, the player with the most points will get MVP [Most Valuable Player]. They get an extra 25 pts. The winning team also get 25 pts.

In TD or Team Deathmatch the Blues and the Reds try to kill each other until one team meets the required amount of kills. It will be either a 0/25 (Short), a 0/100 (Average), or 0/500 (Very Long) game. Assaults are a bit different:

Red is the offensive team. They try and kill the Artifact. The Artifact looks like this:


Red shoots it. There will be the Artifact life at the bottom left showing how much 'life' the artifact has left.
If time runs out, and the artifact still hasn't 'died' than blue wins.

Weapons and How to Buy
To buy Weapons, you will use your Kill Coins (AKA Kill Coins). If you get, lets say 10 kills, than you may buy anything that costs 10 k/c or below. You can only buy weapons when you die. To buy Simply click to choose that weapon, and click again to unselect.

Hosting and Sharing your Map
I am assuming you have already read the Map Making Guide Now it is time to Host it! Go to the button on the top of the chat that says: Host
A window will pop up over chat that says NEW GAME. Fill out the Game Name. (Password again is optional) Select the option that says: Custom. If you made an assault also select Assault. Hit the refresh button below the selected maps, if yours does not show up. Scroll down to the Map that you want, and press the arrow button that will bring it into the selected box. Use the up/down buttons to rearrange playing order. You may select the K/C, and the health: Along with Remixing the teams at the end of a match, team switching (Blue->Red/ Red->Blue) Press OK when you are done.



Now if you wanted to show your maps on the forums...That's a whole different ballpark. Take a Screenshot, host it to Photobucket, Tinypic, or Imageshack

Paste the BBC code that is provided onto the forums under map making. To get there: go Here. Make a NEW THREAD, and paste the BBC code there. If you want people to play your map anytime they feel like it go back to MAP EDITOR<CLIPBOARD MANAGEMENT<SAVE. This will copy your map in code version, so other players have access to it. Use the code command code when pasting the code to your map:

[color=white]To report someone in game type in /REPORT USERNAME REASON. This action will be logged, so that moderators can check to see who has been misbehaving, and punish accordingly. 
DO NOT! I REPEAT DO NOT ABUSE THIS FUNCTION! That includes: reporting yourself, reporting non-guilty players, reporting bad messages: '' /Report Wolfhowlz being a nub''  ''/Report Wolfhowlz Youfhighaisahifsaifmodhiaffifahifhifaohfhia'' etc...

There is also a nifty [URL=http://pawngame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52877]Site[/URL] that HonorP00ner and iFreak made for pawn. It is a place to upload screenshots of Major Abusers.

In game you may contact any of our Moderators or Pawn Assistants to check out any hackers if they are online. If not, please just take a screenshot and send it to any one of our lovely Moderators. Please DO NOT POST ON FORUMS! IT WILL BE LOCKED!

What Qualifies as a Hack:
[color=orange]øAuto-Kill:[/color] Kills everyone instantly and death meter says -1337 or is below -400; can kill everyone both Blue and Red.
[color=orange]øAuto Refill:[/color] You can shoot this player constantly, and they won't die. (They must be moving, because there is a glitch where someone logs out, but there is a ghost of them left behind)
[color=orange]øAuto-Pistol:[/color] Starter pistol shoots like a P90 and can shoot through walls.

[color=white] Infractions are negative pts given to players if they break any of pawngames rules. When added up, anything over 10pts in a given amount of time will become a 1 day ban. After a certain amount of weeks, the infractions will expire (can no longer count towards a ban) To view how many infractions you have go to Forums<User CP. Referrals are: Points that moderators give players. These are a good thing. The more referral pts that you have, the greater chance of you becoming a moderator. Just remember never to ask to become moderator, stay active, and follow the rules. To check how many (if any) referral pts you have just go to your profile on forums.[/color][/b]

read the whole thing sounds very intresting i dont understand if u have to buy weapons how do u make money is it through points?

 

The number of people you kill in a game = the # of k/c in a game

# of k/c allows you the # of weapons to buy in a game.

We also got a forum credit system, but so far the only functions are: Donate & Lottery

Blank (the admin) promised there will be other uses
