How to start a Range & Mage Pure F2p

Hello, I'm Alex, I'm pretty new to making guides and stuff, but if you've seen my other guide then you must be familiar with me. I have provided some easy steps to make your own pure. You will need some cash, although, to start this. Note : This guide is for starters who are unaware of how to start a pure in a good way.

1. Get started with your pure's supplies. Buy 20k iron arrows ( 10k if you can't afford ) 20,000 mind runes, or 10,000 mind runes, 1,000-2,000 death runes and 5,000 chaos runes. Every elemental staff, wizard clothes, range chaps,leather body, coif, green dragonhide vambraces and legs, along with a mage amulet and an amulet of power. The ranging supplies besides the arrows can be obtained through a general store or the varrok clothes shop directly parrallel to the general store in varrok.


2. After your level 3 now has all of those items, it's time to get leveling! I would recommend starting out with mage since it is the quickest one. The best place for low level mages to train would be the zombies. The zombies are located in the manhole just north of the varrok east bank. After you climb down that manhole, go in the path to the east most.


3. After you hit level 13 ( fire strike ) from the zombies, i recommend keep using fire strike until fire bolt. Fire strike is pretty accurate, and can hit up to an 8 which gives you some great xp. It also costs way less then bolts since minds are 20 each in a f2p world.


4. When you reach level 35 magic ( fire bolt ) you can take a break from magic, or continue with fire bolt until level 55 mage. ( At 55 mage I would recommend either becoming a member, or get 59 mage and stay as a f2p pker.


5. Anyways, moving on to range. Range is pretty easy just like leveling up Magic should of had been. From levels 1-15 range, train on cows south of varrok or east of lumbridge. After you reach 15 range, head back to varrok to rebank, buy some food if you don't have any, and go to the security stronghold in Barbarian village that is west of Varrok. In the first level, go a little bit in until you find a place where level 12 minotaurs and low level wolves are. There is a fence in the middle of the room that is just PERFECT for rangers. The minotaurs aren't aggressive so it is very easy to go and pick up your arrows. You should stay here until at least 35 range. Maybe 40 if you feel more comfortable.


6. After your 35-40 range, go a little bit deeper in until you reach a room that has level 27 minotaurs, and a bit higher level wolves. Once again, there is a fence in the room which will block the minotaurs and wolves from attaking you. This is probobly the best non-members range training spot I know since people stay here to literally 60-65 range. I recommend staying here to 50 range and either becoming a member, or staying a non-member while getting 55 range.


7. IF you chose to stay a non-member, well good job , because so did I and this last step is for those non-members. It's time to get pking. Buy some green dragonhide legs and vambraces, while along with death runes for fire blast if you have 59 mage. You can either team up with some other pure friends, like I did, and go in the wilderness with your friends. I recommend staying below 20 since higher levels pretty much will rape you if you go any higher. But, if you are versing a meleer and you have range gear, you can easily just switch to mage and start casting fire blast with your friends. Hopefully you dont die, and if you get close, be a total noob and teleport your way out since your below level 20.

nice guide man. but you want to keep a pure at a low level so for mage i suggest using curse. get your mage levels and you should have 10 hp. then do your range

Old stuff, read something similar before, not leeched though. but thats not how you make a range/mage :S the training spots make it even longer :O

 

also u should add that if u want a range pure make sure you get like 44 pray 70-80+ range, makes pking so much easier and atk and str doesnt really matter but it makes the pure look neater IMO

Nice guide 7/10.. i preffer to instead of using attacking spells to use the ones that dont gain hp it lowers ur hp a lil but it also keeps ur cb down... my pure will be a lvl 39 with 40 hp 59 mage and 60 range... in non members that owns pretty well...but over all nice guide

 

Thanks koolkats, but low hp does have its advantanges, but sometimes strength pures can 2 hit you. So higher hp isn't really a bad thing.
