Returning to botting: a few questions

I botted up until two summers ago when I quit, right when that huge bot ban happened. I've started playing again and also wanna start up botting again, but I have a few questions:

1) Which free PowerBot scripts are the best? I'm looking for skill exp and money-making. Would prefer to make money with skilling rather than combat.

Fishing is 86 -- used to bot monkfish and made decent exp with decent money (200k/hr). Is this still a good method? I also have 94 WC. Everything else is not very notable (62 mining, 71 fletching, stuff like that)

2) Is Jagex still cracking down hard on bots or is it decently safe?

3) Two years ago, general consensus was to bot for max 8-10 hours a day and to not bot overinght, mimicking a person actually playing. Is this still the case, or do people safely bot longer / overnight?

Pretty much just want to know what safe botting practices are in the current climate, and how to get the most out of botting.

 

1) Basically, the way to check if a bot is good or not is to just trial it. PB scripters have gone really downhill in terms of support and updates, so some scripts may be out-of-date.
2) There's (allegedly) something called 'Botwatch' now, which supposedly analyses popular-at-the-time botted spots/tasks and will ban accordingly. I think the only thing unsafe in EOC is anything giving 250k+ exp/hr and dung scripts.
3) Many people bot for 40+ hr sessions without repercussion. If your account is valuable (either tangibly or emotionally), I'd say stick to a maximum of 14 hours a day.

I've recently been trying to max out my F2P skiller. I've had 80 hour proggies with some scripts, I've gained 3 99s in about 4 weeks and I've had no blackmarks.

 

1) well you have to try them out yourself, i am not using them atm
2) sometimes jagex crack down some botters, but atm there is no banwave
3) i am botting way over 24 hours straight with my accounts

if you think about getting a paid bot for some rsgp, i wouln't do it since rsbot 5 is coming out. i don't know when but i heard you won't be able to run a scrupt for multiple times anymore, and that sucks ass
