    Read the following online:

    How about unverified paypal, is it safe for me to accept payment from unverified account ?

    If the account isn't verified, then they haven't added a funding source and must be paying with Paypal funds. Therefore 100% safe. If they are verified, then they either have a Bank Account or a Credit Card linked.

    Unverified is worst they could have just made it and then sent it from their real paypal on which they already charged back people. Paypal also limits unverified paypals often and reverses the payments for them.

    Verified - must have a bank account linked to the account.
