hypothetical situation: you get in a car accident and die. very unfortunate, but that means whoever bought ur account, and spent a pretty penny on it, will be fucked if the account ever gets hacked or locked for whatever reason.

 

This is untrue. As the account seller he can provide as much or as little information as he wants. If you don't like that then don't buy the account

ok, thanks for clearing the part about it being allowed up!

 

Also to clarify, it's actually safer that way. The more people that learn the recovery information, the more people that are able to attempt a recovery with the correct information. If JaGeX receives appeals with correct information from multiple locations, they may not be able to differentiate them and would be unable to determine the true original owner. This might result in them not unlocking the account for anyone and thus it being permanently locked. Now if the original owner retains all recovery information, he and only he will be able to recover the account, making it much safer. That way, if he is trusted as Azie is, should the account get locked or hacked, you can rest assure that he will be able to recover it for you and return it.

Hope that clarifies some stuff

 

thanks dunworry! i completely understand it from that safety point of view, but what if someone indeed (and lets fucking hope not) does suddenly die, that'd mean that whoever bought the account can be out of their money if the account ever gets locked. by all means, best of luck with the sale!
