    Our interests obviously differ because I wouldn't buy any guitar for 100 dollars. But if you feel that you have enough back up money and you like it that much, go for it man.

    I agree with Viper. Unless you are either experienced or willing to spend a lot of time learning how to play guitar don't spend your money on it. Playing an instrument can be very time consuming and frustrating so think before spending the money.

    I would save the money for other things...like house or a car.

    If you really like the guitar or just playing or collecting guitars, then I'd suggest purchasing it.

    You can get some really good guitars for around 500$, why spend twelve times that when the amplifier and your own skill makes most of the difference.

    6000$ is a lot of money to spend on a guitar. I would take like a couple hundred of it, and buy an ounce of marijuana.
