unfair bannishment -.-

so I saw a admin or mod I don't remember but it was someone with a position of responsibility and in his signature he's promoting his forums so I posted a thread in the SPAM forum and I just said please come and join and support it.

AND I GET BANNED FOR A MONTH!!!

what the heck is that about? I've never had a infrature or anything -.-
