Your opinion of cutting yourself;

So, latly, more & more people are cutting theirself.
And yes, I did this too, but it's nothing special really.
And no, I'm not planning to do this again, but I only want to know your opinions.

Remind, that these kids HAVE feelings and cutting theirself is THEIR way of expression, so I'm asking respect, so no flaming.
It's okay to say it's screwed up or something, because it is your opinion, but you don't need to call names.

People have feelings, you know.
And some kids have problems, and maybe they can't deal with it, so that's the way they deal with it.
Why is this so ''wrong'' , they aint cutting YOU, are they?

 

Well Emo ppl cut them selves so it's a way of expressing ur self they cut them self if there depressed or sumthing.

 

I cut myself once when I was VERY frustrated. But I have only cut myself once.

I'd have to say that it isn't very smart, but it releases endorphins in the brain, that makes you feel a bit better. I wouldn't care too much if someone did it like a few times, but it'd be kind of messed up if they did every day.

hurting yourself on purpose is not a good way to solve your problems or express yourself. Its no better then being a prostitute on the streets...respect your body.
i can understand that some may have, or currently cut themselves because they feel so horrible about themselves or a issue. There are better ways to deal with it though! (talk it out with someone, dont hurt yourself)
try to find better ways to solve your problems, this is why some people become alcoholics....its the only way they can solve/ num there problems.

then again, i havnt done it myself...so i cant really side with people that have done it. Is what i think, right?

I agree with shin. If they are cutting themselves to lessen some other pain or problem in their life then it sort of makes sense. So I'm fine with others cutting themselves as long as they don't cut in front of me or talk to me. What ever floats their boat.

It's dumb, there is plenty of other things you can do to release emotion or anger/pain. Even if you feel no1 will help you or care about how you feel, there is so much you can do to get yourself together.

 

cutting yourself isnt going to help you at all... it's just an act for attention
