How to STOP the MSN Virus!

Ok, I know a lot of people are 'infected' with the virus. The virus will send your contacts this kind of message "HEY IVE JUST GOT BACK FROM FLORIDA CHECK OUT MY VACATION PHOTOS" then it will automatically send a file which your contact can accept or decline.. like what happens on msn. If they accept, they also will be infected by the virus. It's not high risk, but very frustrating and many of your contacts will block you or delete you as it sends multiple times.

It's actually VERY simple to get rid of this virus, firstly delete the file. Even if you NEVER opened it you will still be infected, then delete it from Recycle bin.

On Windows go > Start > My computer > crive > Documents & Settings > Owner (This may be different depending on computer setting so look around if you cannot find it. Choose each option here and the one where the most programs are is your most likely option). > Local settings > Application data > Microsoft > Windows Live Contacts (Don't choose Messenger) > Find your MSN (The one which is infected) > Reel > Delete the cache file!

That will be the end of your MSN virus, and remember.. Don't accept it again It's usually easy to distinguish between a genuine photo and the virus, the virus always has a name like PICTURE%5%%%% or foreign writing. Just be careful.
