I have found one or two names on RS that will be transfer ready soon. I looked here to make sure nobody was selling them and I don't get banned. None of them are being sold. So will I get banned if I snatch these names? After all I do not know if they are getting sold or the people are just tired of the name and are dropping the name. I will never know either.

Will I get in trouble on Sythe if I snipe a name that isn't being sold here, or might not even be getting sold at all?

 

if no one is selling these names on sythe, then why would u get blamed for sniping a name that no one on sythe currently has?

 

Look around the market to see if anyone has it. If not you wont get banned for sniping them

Also, I am not 100% sure that they are not on sythe. What is the best way to check? When I try to search it tells me ALL of them are too common. Even when I choose only Name Sales it says try again.

Even if you did somehow manage to snipe these name's,
How would anyone know that YOU sniped the name if YOU don't tell anyone else about the name or if you're not selling the name here on Sythe?

 

When I am in the mood for looking for cool names I go on my RS acc. Go to my ignore list and add random things that I want to see if it is available. If it shows up on the list it's taken. If it doesn't it is available and transferrable. BUT if you get one where a different name pops up (ie. I type "A1A" and maybe I get "Pk1243245") if it has the little /green guys on the side and you scroll over you can see "A1A" this means that the name is not taken, but is not available yet. I have found a lot of names like this that arn't for sale here.

@ <3 - Ya that makes sence, and I could have proof it wasn't sniped while they were a member if they somehow did find out, therefor it wasn't against the rules at the time.

 

Oh ok. Then you were probably just lucky and got those unused names.

 

They've been used, they have just been changed. And when they are available I will snatch them on a lvl 3.

 

Better be sure not to slip up and accidentally end up mentioning these name's your apparently attempting to snipe,
To find out latter on, that the name was unfortunately getting sold on Sythe and too sum up that you'd basically snitch your self out,

yeah it does... But I want to make sure this doesn't happen. I would feel extremely bad sniping the name of a fellow syther. If I found out I did I would give them the user and pass to the lvl 3 it's on and let them change the pass and it's theirs again (if they can prove they had it before and were selling it) but I know even if I did that I would get banned, and I want to avoid this... So how can i do this, but safely...

Pfft. I don't even know how many days are left on the names. I am just going to have to check if they are still untradable when ever I have time. Hopefully I catch a few after they have become available, before someone else gets it.

No autoclicker. It's a waste! I believe in fair play. I sure would hate it if some guy with more advanced shit took a name I found/bought/or traded. So I give them the amount of time from the name gets tradable to when I get on to finish the trade. After that it's anyone's!
