The Dark Templar is one of the most iconic raids in the rich history of World of Warcraft, and nearly 15 years after its original release, Burning Crusade Classics is here. However, before you can enter Illidan's Fortress of the Raging Winds, you must complete a long chain of coordination to reach the Dark Templar.

After completing some quests in Shadowmoon Valley - home of the Dark Templar - you will be asked to complete some dungeons and raids in the outside world. You will meet a faction called the Greytongue Oathbringer, who will play an important role in your journey as you complete advanced quest chains. Here's how to adapt yourself to the Dark Temples in World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic.

Shadowmoon Valley Quests
The journey to the dark tomb mood begins in Shadowmoon Valley, where a series of quests must be completed in order to begin the necessary mood chain. The first quest, the Baa'ri Ruins, can be started at either the Altar of Sathar or the Temple of Stars depending on whether you are allied with Aldo or the Ascendant.

After completing a series of quests in the Baa'ri Ruins, you will be asked to collect four shards of the Order of Karabor. These four Shards are held by four specific Greytongue Corruptors: Eykenen, Haalum, Lakaan, and Uylaru. Travel north to south through the middle of Shadowmoon Valley and you should be able to collect all four shards of the locket.

Head to the Warden's Cage, where you must kill a satyr named Zandras for a member of the Greytongue Death Pledge. After proving your allegiance to the necromancers, you will be introduced to Akama - a quest giver you will be very familiar with.

Akama will reveal to you that the medallion pieces you collected are replicas and that the Seer Udalo in Arcatraz knows where the last piece is. Akama will send you to Arcatraz Dungeon to find the Prophet.

Arcatraz and the Terrace of Atamal
The Seer Udalo can be found in Arcatraz, right in front of the room where the final boss is. Unfortunately, the seer Udalo is dead and will be of little use to you in your search for the last medallion pieces. However, the word "ata'mal" is still carved into the ground next to his corpse, a clue you'll take back to Akama.

When you hear the word "ata'mal," Akama will send you to the ata'mal platform in Shadowmoon Valley. There, in addition to three elite brawlers, you must also kill a warlock named Shadowlord Deathsworn. The battle is quite difficult and requires a team of players to achieve victory. After clearing the terrace, you must collect the Heart of Fury and bring it back to Arkama.

After returning the Heart of Wrath to Akama, you will be sent to the city of Shatas, where you must speak to Naruadar in the center of the city to get to the final part of the chain of coordination.

Back and forth between raids
Assemble a team for Serpentshrine Cavern and kill the team's fourth leader, Fathom-Lord Karathress. After defeating the boss, talk to Seher Olum and you will find him in the cage behind Karathress. Seher Olum will send you back to Akama so you can continue coordinating the chain.

After returning to the Warden's Cage and getting the next quest chain from Akama, go to the Eye of the Storm Fortress to kill Ola. To take down the phoenix, you need a raid team. Most importantly, you're wearing the Gray Tongue Cloak that Akama gives you when you fight the boss.

After killing Al'ar, return to Akama. From there, you will be prompted to travel to the final raid in the coordination chain: the Battle of Mount Hyjal. Gather a party for this raid, take out the first boss, the Berserker Winter's Chill, and loot the Wyrm's Time Lord Chest. Return to Akama when the quest is complete.
