The Wii and the Xbox 360 hurting PS3 sales?

I think this is the right section to post this, since this is discussion.

Do you think the sales of the Wii and the Xbox 360 are successfully drawing more people than the PS3?

What are your opinions?

I have seen this aswell. I have not yet purchased a ps3 yet, but hope to soon. I have the Wii and 360 though. amazing consoles.

 

the ps3 is wayyyyyyy to expenisive.
Plus it doesnt have halo, thats the reason why i got a 360 in the first place.

 

I agree. The reason I bought a 360 about 3 weeks ago was because of it's great games.

I plan on buying halo 1 and 2 this week, so I can get a taste of it, and then buy Halo 3/wars later.

 

The Xbox 360 and the Wii do not effect the sales of the PS3. The PS3 never gets bought because it is ridiculously overpriced and isn't nearly as good as the Xbox or Wii.

 

True + on top of that there are still almost no games on it compared to the 360, the only decent thing about the ps3 is the free net.

 

360/wii have some dope games; super smash brawl, halo3 , etc. ps3 doesn't have a certain game of its own to make it fun/worth buying.

 

There are a few such as resistance 2 .

 

if only GTA games stayed on playstation 3 i think they prob would sell better.

 

The ps3 is actually very good. A hell lot better than the the wii, but the 360 is better overall. Yes, the overpricing thing is a big factor though.

 

People want value. So when you have to game consoles, both released in about the same period of time, you'd expect the prices to be quite close. However, the Ps3 remains very dear while the Xbox360 has become more affordable. The Wii ia not really in the competition, as Nintendo died ages ago with 64.
Overall, I'd buy a Xbox360.

 

I think Xbox Live dominates all other Online Systems. Who cares if you have to pay for it? I mean, I'm willing to pay for greatness.

 

Well the other two are cheaper for a start. Xbox has some of the best games + xbl. Idk about wii but still.

The only reason I'd get PS3 is because the online is free and there's the Resistance series. But PSN comes nowhere close to XBL. Who gives a flying fuck if you have to pay $8 a month for XBL. One year of XBL costs less than the price of a brand new PS3 game.

 

I am sorry but halo has got to be the most overrated game there is, it's decent no doubt but not that fun.

I will say ssbb is quite fun to play but is too repetitive to compare to resistance.

 

No matter what, I think the Xbox 360 is better than any console out atm.

It has a greater range of games, exclusive access to Halo series and a better dash board layout.

Only disadvantage to Xbox is the fees you have to pay for online.

 

Those systems are popular then PS3. The PS3 is underrated and overloaded.

 

Yes obviously the 360 and Wii are hurting PS3 sales...they're competitors...
