What religion are you?

Interesting question I just want to ask around the board.

Only check mark the religion which fits you and give us a brief explanation why you follow it

But remember one thing.

Atheist. Why? Because I'm far too educated to believe in Biblical fairy tales.

Although I can foresee all the replies for Christianity and Islam; "because they were bred to follow these religions."

RELIGION does not = BIBLE

For me, Christianity. Or more specifically, a branch: Mormonism.
I follow that religion because it makes the most sense to me (of course).

By "biblical" I meant all holy scriptures, the Torah, the Qu'ran, the Book of Mormon, the Bible, just to name a few.

Have you ever had the honour of reading Maddox's website? If you have, you would be capable of comprehending the supreme satirical intelligence of my signature. Mainly because its based on facts, and my response is a proper argument.

I can assure you, I am quite familiar with their situation. They have no government, they are poor, they starve, and the rest of the world doesn't seem to give a shit. Of course, you'll occasionally encounter some "morally correct" person whining about their terrible conditions; without actually doing something to help them.

That's what my signature represents; a mocking of narrow-minded "morally correct" hypocritical bastards.

I'm an Atheist, because after looking at the world around me, and reviewing the stupidity and ignorance of the fairy tales that some call religious texts, I came to the logical conclusion that there is no God. To believe in imaginary beings is delusional. To claim to talk to imaginary beings is delusional. To believe in a God that is clearly imaginary is delusional. When someone can cough up evidence for there being a God, I will believe, but until then, it's a fairy tale just the same.

Having a religion or not it really doesnt have anything to do with how smart you are. Its just the way how human brains work.

I think its pretty stupid for people to debate religion you can't prove God is real no matter what. However its also stupid for someone to say that they need to prove God exists. That would defeat the purpose of religon than.. Its suppose to be about faith.....

 

Dawkins says that Atheists are just as ignorant as extremists. The logic behind that is that if you don't recognize the possibility of God being real (making you agnostic leaning toward atheism) then you are no different than an extremist who refuses to recognize that there is a possibility that God does not exist.
