I like your idea of the high scores. Its a little more fair to those of us that train one stat alot and get a ton of exp in it.

 

I support this idea 100% It would be so much better if overall was based on xp.

 

Well, how do you want it programmed? SSI, populated by PHP dynamically, or manual update via JS?

 

Wow lets act smart when we could copy and paste the xp?

thats a good idea because on my main i had 40mill xp with 1258 total while people with 1500 total never came close to 40mill xp

 

This would be almost impossible to make...

The server would have to cache every single player in hiscores frequently to have a fresh database. And that would be a huge job.

I could do it easily IF i had faster internet.
All i would do is have to download the whole highscores, then sort it with NUMERIC sort and go from highest to lowest. and bam your done....

Except downloading the highscores would take to long seeing you can only download 20 at a time and there is 1,000,000 listings meaning there are 50,000 pages to download.

so ya, possible but not worth it.

 

The RuneScape highscores is good enough. Just some features missing so you should suggest this in the RuneScape Forums.

It would be really cool if Jagex made it so you can choose how you want to organize it

But for a up-to-date list you would have to do it everyday.

I have the same problem. I am lvl 3 with a little over 28m total exp, but only 811 total! People with 820 total with only 2m total usually outrank me...Pm me if u find someone to do this?
