It is not deep at all.. to take video shots and photos of ignorant muslims who did horrible acts and they don't count even 0.1% of all muslims.. to blame all muslims of the world!

This is not the Islam in real manifestation. Whenever we switch on the television, we see the misguided muslims. I have a thought, why don't we put the experienced muslims on tv. Rather than the misguided. Islam is a beautiful religion, but some people are to ignorant to see.

You aren't born prejudice --you're taught it. You cannot say, "Yeah, Islamic people are terrorists!" Someone has to teach you. And, history repeats its self. Black people were abused, and so were the Irish. Now, the muslims.

When they talk about Islam on tv, it's a completely different religion!! They take Islam and associate it violence, it's like we're the only people that have committed bad actions!

And, how come when Islamic people commit a crime, it's based on their religion. When Christian or other people commit a crime, it's not based by their religion? Also, THE BIBLE HAS SOME HATE THINGS, TOO! Where's the rights of the muslim, the constitution is bull shit.

First off, you say that we are hypocrites for doing the same thing muslim extremists do, correct? Well, maybe you should open your eyes and realize that only a small fraction of the troops mistreating the citizens of Iraq/Afghanistan!

Second off, the news focuses on what people want to hear. If the average person wanted to hear and would watch news with the 'good muslims' as you address them, that's what they'd air. BAD news gets ratings, it's not just muslims that get the bad news. People don't give a shit about someone who dedicates their life to Christianity, but they go up in arms over (as they rightfully should) a christian priest that sexually harasses children.

Third off, It scares us. It really does, and it should. It should scare you too. If people began to preach death and violence in the name of Christianity, it would get the same attention, however in the world today people are misusing the muslim faith, not the Christian faith to cause a significant amount of violent acts committed in the name of Allah.

 

Exactly, they only air the 'bad' Muslim, so they will get good ratings. If they aired the 'experienced' muslims, no one would watch. "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." Sound familiar? Yeah, that's the bible, Matthew 10-34. Doesn't that sound violent?

 

I was under the impression that religious fundamentalists who attack others get their orders from their holy text - or is that not the case?

Islam is mostly a religion of peace, as is Christianity. BootyLove, you're right that Muslims are unfairly stereotyped. However, as Shawn pointed out, your argument is extremely hypocritical.

That isn't a valid argument. No one is denying that the bible has quite a few "hate things". The thing is, Islamic people are the ones killing in the name of their religion. When someone blows themselves up, in the name of Allah, it IS a crime based on religion. I haven't heard of many Christian suicide bombers lately. If a Christian went on a killing spree using the bible to justify it then yes, I'd say it was based on his or her religion; but that isn't happening.

 

This is truly a peaceful religion. I hate the Muslims. They have caused trouble to many over something that doesn't exist, Allah. What is the point of it? Religion? Do they have proof of Allah? No, they don't. They are fighting us over jealousy. Everything is jealousy.

I think the media overexaggerated the whole Fitna-thing. I saw it, and you can clearly see how it is editted to portay the islam as a religion full of hatred.
But those verses like 'jew should be slain', 'fight for Allah' etc.. etc.. are totally wrong. Most religions are there to bring peace, but if you write this in your book, you are doing something wrong.
Also, I don't know why the islam hates jews and christians. The christian and jewish religion were there before the islam (which was established around 600 A.D).

I live in netherland, and I saw the movie.

I don't why Islam is against Christians, but I do know that they're against Judaism because the Jews refused to listen to Allah when he told them that they were not allowed to fish on a certain holiday. Pretty stupid reason, IMO.

I think everyone should keep this in mind.

I also think that religion starts with poverty. People will get hope when they have something nice to think about, wich is in first authority a belief. The problem with the Islam are the parents that are very strand to their children en some stupid rules. (eg. honor revenge, head cloth for woman, ramadan ect.) The minds of 3 yo children gets brainwashed so they will give the faith to their next generation who bring up their children in exactly the same way.

I mean, there's no prove that just one belief is real and that's why I only trust in technology and evolution of human beings.

I also live in the Netherlands, and trust me, Geert Wilders is crazy but he has got 9 seats in the second room (total 150 seats) and the expection is becomming more and more. I see this hatesowing idiot as a threat between the muslim and eurpean community. Think of the second world war, Hitler used the media to let whole Germany think jewesh people were bad, enought people voted for him so he got the power... Luckely Germany lived under other circumstances then we (Netherland) do now so most people know what he's trying and they just ignore them. However there's still a group of people that come up to the same thing as Wilders.
