    program to tell when GE has updated??
    well, as some of you may know, it is hard to get certain items off the GE,

    I heard there is 3rd party program that alerts you when ge has been updated.

    Anyone know of this?

    I havn't heard of this, but it would be possible. And pretty easy to program becuse of the page's on Runescape.com, about the GE prices/graphs etc.

    If your at all into merchanting, you should know that the GE updates randomly in a 24-hour time span, so a program like this wouldn't be possible. Even though it is a nice idea, it's not possible.

    it is possible. a program could track a popular item that changes everyday. when it changes price, it tells you.

    You would have to load a page like every 5 minutes to avoid being IP blocked.

    Think about it, you're all wrong...It's not possible unless it's a 'bot' that stays logged into your account 24/7...Just because an items price rises or drops doesn't at ALL mean your item is sold...But...that would be epic :D

    Are you totally dumb? He means the Grand Exchange which means the pages on runescape.com.

    I've tried doing this, where the item gets priced up or down, the program beeps, but it is not working since the PvP updates have come out.

    I'm going to try again, but hopefully it will work.

    You guys fail, GE Updates in game first, then 20 minutes later the grand exchange pages update, so its too late to put in offers for 3rd age, masks when the ge page updates which is 20 minutes after the ge in game update.

    just get a link to the page of the item you want and have a program refresh or retrieve the source every few minutes until its different >.>

    100% possible, however if you watch certain weapons or armour you will know when they rise and fall. Would be cool for some one to make a program like that :D

    GE updates randomly every 24 hours, but for some reason some worlds update a good amount of time before others and such... :/
