How To Get Past Websites Blocked With Norton [or something simmilar]

If this is in the wrong forum, i DO apologize... this is the first guide i've made. don't lock it, just please move it to the appropriate forum. thank you.

    here's how it [might] work

say that RUNESCAPE is blocked. i'll use that as an example.

okay, so you're siting at your computer, you wanna get on RS, but you can't because your parents blocked it. what're you gonna do? this:
[be warned, this will likely completely destroy NORTON (or whatever you have) and if done incorrectly, may corrupt WINDOWS itself. be careful, only use as a last resort]

so, open up your task manager, and find all processes under "user". first try closing all "user" processes, except task manager, and find out which one you CAN'T close. (if you can close them all, this will be real easy)
    let's say it's called FUCK.exe.

FUCK.exe is stubborn and wont be forced quit. so we're gonna destroy it from the inside

go to "my computer" then to the C: drive, then to "program files" and find the folder with the appropriate name of the blocker you have (such as norton, or bulldog). having found this, open the folder and explore the entirety of it, deleting every and any file you come across.

before exploring, go to "tools" on the top of the folder, then "folder options" and then on the top toolbar click "view." now, click the circle or checkbox that says "view hidden filed and folders," just so you make sure you can delete everything possible

having deleted everything you can, many [or most] of the files remain with a message of "cannot be deleted, process may be in use by another application..." or whatever

go to RUN (start-> run) and type in MSconfig and click "ok"
either check "diagnostic startup" or, under "selective startup," de-select all the [4] checkboxes, click save, and restart your computer.

when restarted, go back to the program files of NORTON, and try deleting more files
if your firewall is still open after restarting the computer, try restarting in safe mode, or in MSdos, which you may procede to specify the file to delete (you probably won't need to do this, and if needed, i will give advice if you ask)

[possibly,] you may have deleted all of the files, some of which may have been vital for windows to operate oonline.

if in the case that windows can no longer operate online, save all important files to a flash drive or CD, and re-install windows.

THIS is when you tell your parents that the "dumb, glitchy firewall shit" that they bought cause the computer to bork.

it's not likely that you will need to re-install windows, but i have had people tell me that doing this causes their computer to no longger go online.
the one with a lot of trouble was something like "content protect" or "content watch," something like that...

    Plz rate my guide! thnx
