Should I work or party?

End of school for me! After I go to the prom I got about 3 months before I go to college! I can either party my ass off and get stoned/drunk as possible or go work somehwere and maybe make like £1,500 ($3,000 I think)

The work is gunna be retail, so probably quite boring, but still pretty good pay for someone who won't have to pay for food or a mortage etc.

I wouldn't be partying everday, but i'd probably be gettin up at noon and getting drunk a lot and not really accomplishing anything. Can anyone who's worked in a supermarket before or similar retail tell me what it's like?

Does it go fast because of how busy you are, or does it drag and seem like an eternal hell of boredom.

Atm I'm more interested in the work, I could set myself nice up for college, maybe get some new clothes a bike etc.

 

I do both. Work during the day, party at night. Just don't start work too early, maybe around 12pm or so because you'll probably party late. Especially if you like your job, it'll be a nice day.

 

i have friends that work at grocery stores and they all seem to like it. they never really complain so i assume its and ok job and isnt too boring.

Getting drunk is overrated if you do it too much.

 

I was just thinking that same thing but for me its just over the summer. I currently work nights 6-9 for $8/hour. so that leaves me the full days during the summer to just hang out with ppl, play sports, play CSS, workout and party except i am not sure if i should do that or if i should get a 9-5 job at a local supermarket. with the two jobs combined ill probably be able to make a fair $1500 CDN for a month and for the 2 months of summer i can be really well sitting at 3k for grade 10 when i will be taking a driver's test and hopefully passing it. So can somebody help me out in this thread aswell. thx.

 

I agree with most everyone else party at night sleep for a few hours go to work.

lol get high and pissed while working dude, i gota wait like 3 months for colege too i am studyin sum crazy enginering mechanical bullshit n over th summer im workin on the biuldin site with my grandad

And yes, you can pay for a good college or something. For me, education is always first.
