~Into the Distance (Hopefully an improvement)

Ok, I haven't posted my latest tags, but they blew, I went from inter to novice with them. I think I've finally made an improvement, it may not be the best tag but it has topped my recent ones.

Try an airship? You mean add one to the left?

No, I made it empty like that to give the viewer the picture that she's looking into the distance at something far off.

It lacks proper depth to be looking into the distance.

Add some angled effects by using the transform/skew tool. Also blur/sharpen to add even more depth.

 

Sweet, thanks durial. Apparently my wire frame perspective at the top of the tag is close to being pro, as a pro tells me.

I'll open it back up and work on more depth, thanks.

 

What th-... who told you where inter ? The monotone colors, the flat effects, and the lack of depth, the poor wireframe...

From this alone you seem like low moderate.

 

What you should highly consider, if your looking to put off that this person is looking to the distance is in your left side, don't make a solid color as you basically have, but make a transitional gradient. Start behind the subject, with your base color, build a light gradient. Specifically not with light, but a 50% or less opacity of this color. Make it flow from her body, to the left, into a light, white, space. This effect will not detract from the simplicity of the signature, but will, however, give you a sense of distance, to which she is SUPPOSED to be looking

 

I was rate inter a couple months ago, but I haven't touched PS in ages. The poor wireframe? A pro didn't think so. I don't feel like quoting myself again but he said "your wireframe perspective at the top of the tag is close to pro level, keep focusing on attention to detail like that and you could be ranking up soon"

Show me this pro, something tells me he got classed at a gaming forum where crappy use of C4D's is appreciated.
