New pure ranger again! LOL

Ok so i made a new pure this time it's a ranger why did i make one well because the money makers stake and a good staker and some what pker is a ranger but i'm wondering should i make this guy a tanker for strickly staking or leave him at 1 def and i'm also leveling his mage or should i stop leveling his mage? anyways please post your advice and you can donate stuff to me only if you wanna have fun in rs and keep it safe .


Oh and i forgot to mention hes 16 range started him only 20 mins ago.

My goals are to get 40 range after 40 range 50 range then 55range get p2p then get 60-65 range try staking then get 70 range.

 

Train magic and ranged. Magic> ice spells or entagle; ranged> dark bow. Then try to pk, if you will get bad drops, train prayer for smite.

 

Well, where to start with this one, hmm. This question has 2 definate answers, all depending on where you want the account to make you money. If you want it to stake, your going to need defense, thats a must. Without defense people will slice right through you, leaving the winnings you make to a very slim trickle instead of being flodded with wealth when you equip kharils. But being pure with 1 defense is also a good idea, but only for the wilderness. PKing is one of the most fun aspects of runescape, and getting high defense pretty much makes successful pking impossible. You are going to need to choose between keeping defense low and PKing for a living, or getting higher defense and start staking. Now im not saying you cant stake with low defense, but all im saying is that higher defense makes it alot easier and gives you more winnings. Now back to your mage question, yes, although expensive mage really helps in the pking aspect of the game, if you only want to duel though, dont bother, its a waste of money.
