I think i've solved RWT!!!

okay, i've heard about bronze bars and level 3's with money on them and money in POH games chest....but there's something else.

We could use guthix robes as currency, they are worth about 600k together...but 2.8k each in the genral store!!

so.... seller puts amount of guthix robes in genrall store as to how much he's selling.

buyer comes along with the amount you buy the robes from the genral store...(like 4k)

new person sells robes in W2..

Buying Price from General Store is the same as the base price in the Grand Exchange. Therefore you would be selling to General Store at about 2k each, and buying back at 600k. Person 1 loses money, Person 2 Gains/Loses nothing.

Player A is selling 1.2M to player B.

He puts 2x guthix robe top and 2x guthix robe bottom into the genral store.

Player B comes along and buys the robes from the genral store. He then sells the robes for 1.2M

Somewhere between the lines, Player B gives rl money to Player A


The genral store is acting as a MM

No, the problem is you haven't fully read through the recent updates.

With the addition of the Grand Exchange to monitor Market Prices, when purchasing an item from a General Store it will no longer be sold to you at the Shop Price, it will be sold to you at Market Price.

Player A Purchases 2 sets of Guthix Robes for a total of 1.2m. (Market Price).
Player A Sells 2 sets of Guthix Robes to a General Store for a total of 5k (Shop Price).
Player B Purchases 2 sets of Guthix Robes from the same General Store for 1.2m. (Market Price).

Player A has lost 1,195,000 gp in this process.
Player B has lost 1,200,000 gp, and has gained 2 Sets of Guthix Robes (Valued at 1,200,000 gp) in this process.

Player A loses 1.2m
Player B gains NOTHING.
