hey everyone i just wanted to get everyones view on war in general,

i think it depends on the cause but even still,

the avoiding of war is INEVITABLE,

War forces there to be Leaders-

Leaders demand Power

Power brings Greed,Lust,Tyrancy...if thats a word...Etc

Greed brings more War........

 

War = bad.

I'm a firm supporter of a United Earth, without wars, poverty, hunger, etc.

 

the war should have happend. yes everyone wants a peacefull world. but if we didnt fight they would come over here again and try to kill us again and maybe get succeed....

I'm assuming you're talking about the War in Iraq.

We should never have invaded, as there was very little evidence of weapons of mass destruction. The Pentagon recently admitted that they had twisted the Iraq data in "an unethical manner".

"They" would never be able to come over hear and succeed. Believe me. We have powerful a military (although not so much now...), too many allies, and too much money to burn.

Some of the past wars have been needed. World War II was imperative to have or else no one would have stopped the Axis Powers. The only time there should be war is to balance everything out. An army, such as the ones in the Axis Powers were pushing and pushing as a great force. The world needed something to match, maybe even overpower that force. That's where the United Nations came in. They showed the warlords their place. Let me put it this way.. Imagine New York City with no policemen...

However, if there can be negotiations then I'm all for them, as long as the outcome is the best there can be. At the end of World War II sure us Americans could have negotiated with the Japanese, but the outcome would not have been better than dropping atomic bombs on them and then rebuilding it. What I think would have happened is all the prisoners who were on the brink of death, would have certainly died, but even worse than that U.S.S.R would have gotten involved and most likely split up Japan like they did to Germany.

I tried to stay general on the war topic, but I used WWII as an example to further explain my points.

Like I said, war is ridiculous, outdated, and a sad bloodstain upon our past.

We should unite as one people, one race, one planet.

 

The war is good, and everyone who says war is bad, that was the same view on the civil war with lincoln and the north, but look today everyine things the war was needed and was great.... we will do the same 100 years from now, just no one ever wants to go to war.

 

I think war is ok as long as there is something worthwhile to fight for.

 

I like war.
Depending on what it's about.

 

War takes lives. This is not what is best for humanity as a whole.

this war is BS. we shouldn't even be in iraq right now. Bush said 2 years... its been 6. Though now we cant really leave iraq b/c it would give the U.S a bad name cus we'd look like we just forced them into democracy then left them to fend for themselves. I dont think we should be there anymore but then again in the end it's not really our call to make is it? Of course we should have just wiped out the talibans sorry asses in the begining of this thing then we wouldnt have to deal with the extreemists from that corner. But the Uprisings and riots from iraqi citizens wouldn't have started if bush hadn't planted an American gaurd on every street. All it's come down to now is america keeping iraq from the radicals tearing it apart and dividing the country back into Taliban rule or some other regime.

and i think wars should wars should only be fought when theres no other options, and not because you're scared the other side will attack you first.
