Well, I bought this card from a friend who plays the TCG cheap compared to what they sell for. So I rushed home and put it on ebay, and havent gotten a bid yet at the current price/buy out. But a potential buyer contacted me and told me I might be able to get rid of it on here for ingame gold. Which wouldn't bother me....except the current gold/$ ratio would put this being worth 35k or so (low end 700$ and 20$/1k) and I don't realistically think someone would offer me up that much. But I'm open to any offers...game time cards, gold, accounts, characters, etc. If I'm picking up gold, I don't mind rolling a toon and picking up the gold and paying for the transfer back to my home realm. How much would I expect to pay for one off eBay or similar?
According to http://www.wowtcgloot.com/reins_of_the_swift_spectral_tiger.htm (most information sourced from there), the lowest Buy It Now price starts around $900 USD upwards to $1200 USD, with the average quantity listed hovering around 10 items. Prices have been increasing steadily due to this TCG expansion being out of print.

How do the Loot cards work?
Loot cards are special rare versions of WoW TCG cards found in booster packs, starter decks, and raid decks that have a revealable unique code. Once this protective layer concealing the code is scratched away, a 25 digit promotion code is revealed that can be entered into the Blizzard offical promotions page. These codes work for both US and EU servers.

I have the 25 digit loot code, now what?
All accounts from every region in the world use http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/misc/promotion.html to redeem any and all special loot. This webpage allows you to enter the 25 digit promotion code and also select the region and realm for the character that will receive the loot item.

Upon succcessfuly submitting the above information, you will be presented with an in-game code. Write this code down or print it out; you will need it to retrieve your item. Log into the game with the character that is to receive the item and travel to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale. There, you will need to find a goblin by the name of Landro Longshot. He is located on the lower parts of Booty Bay on the docks, and should be easily recognised due to the fact that he has a distinctive purple shirt and two body guards next to him.

When you find Landro, he will first ask if you are here for a promotion, and then ask you which TCG expansion your item comes from (or Points Redemption); check your loot card if you are not sure which item that is. Ensure you have got bag space to hold the item!

I appreciate it, honestly...its a lot to spend on a mount. I don't really consider myself "leet" enough to be riding around on a ~800$ mount. Thats insane, and as far as ingame gold goes, as I told 'kill' we have the new expansion coming out in a month from today, anyone who has the funds to buy this ingame...is probably saving up for WotLK. Not to mention the patch that will be live this time tomorrow....people will be spending tons to level up inscription ASAP. So...I may hold onto the card for a while....I'd honestly like to get a well geared tank for it...I'd be very very happy with a well geared tank or something of that sort. But...not many people want to give up a character that is more than likely their main for a mount for a lesser of their characters.

 

agreed. Im so pumped for the lich king man lol, i want that death knight, yea it would be pretty hard to get a nice char for it, cuz the odds of some1 tryin to scam u for it are so HIGH lol. I am about as serious of a buyer as you will get. Lets get a deal made weather its for USD through paypal or ebay, or ingame gold.

 

My #1 choice would be ingame gold...mostly because it would save me from dealing with a gold trader...
