upgrading RAM and video card (possibly harddrive)

MY OS is Ubuntu Linux and they have a 3d cube effect in Feisty Fawn that i can not utilize without a new (more updated) video card.

my brand choices are in there. You can click a brand, and tell which one is best maybe? Also, it has to say Yes in 3d and it either has to say nothing in Version, or feisty fawn

Also i have about 512mb of RAM and im thinking of upgrading that to a gb. How much would (kingston preferably) 512mb thing cost?

Also my harddrive is about 30gb.... so im definetly upgrading that. (i can get free harddrives so this may not matter... yet)
