Just wanted to see if anyone was smart around here.

So, which is correct to say:

I don't want anything else to happen between you and (me/I)

    Me or I?

It's the end of a sentence so it's you and me.

If it was at the begining it would be you and I.

For example: You and I need to get outta this town.

Hm, I could be wrong then.

I was always taught at school that it was "You and I".

Then again, the last time I had an English class was Sophomore year in high school; currently a Senior.

    So I guess it's been a while.

    Exactly.

I think people mistake it a lot, because "You and Me" sounds better; it's not grammatically correct, however.

The correct answer would be me. This is because in this sentence, "I" is the subject, want is the verb, and me is the object. I can never function as the object of the sentence.

However, if the subject of the sentence is "you and I," for example; "you and I need to hang out some time," then I is the proper word to use.

    Yeah, this misconception is common.

    What to do:

Take the other person out: You don't like Sally and me.

    You don't like Me

    You don't like I

    See?

It's just a simpler explanation for people who don't know those terms.

You and I went to the movies.
    I went to the movies.

Jake went to the movies with you and me.
Jake went to the movies with me.

It's me since you always use me and not I after the verb in a sentence.

You and I is the correct one, I've always said 'me and person' though.

Correct; John and I are going to hit up the mall later tonight.
Incorrect (Cody); Me and John are hitting up the mall later tonight.
