He wants to keep the account. He's asking to get the money first and then he'll do the first name change, and then in 30 days he'll change it again so you can take it. There are several risks to this selling method (for the buyer), but good luck..

Ah.. Thanks for clearing up

Can anyone confirm if this method of name change works?

And an easy way to transfer your name within a day to another account is switching it to something offensive and posting on the forums of a highly watch thread, such as the beta thread for RS3... It will reset your account to player[insert numbers]. The username will be reset and you can change it to the account you want username on"

I mean first you need to transfer the name to a new level 4 account with no recoveries or JAG and then sell that account with the username (it's login, password and whatever other information that is required).

You cannot tell somebody when you're changing the username because anybody can snipe the name, if you sell the account with the username and leave it up to the buyer to transfer then they feel more secure knowing they're not going to get scammed and knowing that they control when the username will change.

tl;dr, you can't sell a username without giving them ownership of the account with the username since 95% chance they will lose the username.

WRONG, perfectly in compliance with sythe rules. Some even prefer this method, has about as many pro's as con's.
