    Four digit steam accounts are accounts that were created in 2003 - the year Steam came out. People treat them like old wine bottles, the older they are the more valuable they get.

    High 8 digits. The 4 digits are just extremely valuable because they are the oldest accounts possible, and there are only so many of them now. Accounts can be VAC banned and disabled, so there's only a few willing to sell them off now.
