Need help!

One guy wanted to buy my steam user, i gived the password, but the email was verifed and it was my email, he hacked the email off and scammed the user HOW?

Did you use the same password for the account and mail? If yes then he could have tried the password you gave him and logged into your email.

If no, then he could have guessed your email password having your steam account password as an example.

Never use the same password for mail / account.


EDIT: Be carefull guys, his sythe account might have been compromised since he claimed that his email got stolen.

 

No, my sythe account is ok, just my steam haved another email (STEAM ONLY) email. And the password in steam was abbbbbb1 and email was another...
My email isnt stolen lol, my steam is he just hacks the email down on steam...
