My short wrap up of 2011.

2011 saw the return of free trade and the wilderness as we all know this saw the return of countless players and pkers and the wilderness/game was reborn. After Jagex butchered the game they finally fixed it and pleased a lot of players. This also brought the return of staking. Myself being a staker with 2 range boxers, one maxed one low level, a maxed mage boxed (only 99 def mage hp ) I would have to say I have made some mighty profits off the duel arena and I have been able to buy myself a car and save up about $40,000 and I'm only 17 but all this will be going straight into uni/alcohol lol .


As we head later into the year runefest occurred, I flew myself and my mate came both using the money we had earned from selling gold (that never popped up in conversation at runefest haha). We sort of looked out of place coming from Australia, pretty much not being albino and we were actually surprised that it wasn't that much of a sausage fest, which was nice. Sitting listening to the mods and shit, talk was quite boring and the whole experience was crap until the 3rd day where we met this local girl who invited us to this party which was awesome. But what I was getting at (lol) is when we listened to the talk about the bot nuke, and you could look around and see face's like ours which were like omg nooooooooo and then people who had grins on their faces like they wanted to suck mod mark for doing it but the general thought about it was that they were just talking shit and wouldn't really do anything. But they did and that was devastating but now bots are slowly coming back but that's 2012 so I'll leave it for another time.

By the time summer holidays came along (end of the year for me) I decided to leave runescape for the start of the holidays because there was way to much surf and parties to miss out on.

Like most players, I tend to take a lot of pictures of general milestones and this year I actually had no real pictures which is quite an accurate representation of runescape. I'd have to say that 2011 Runescape was pretty much a year of money with dicing and staking and not a lot of actual game play.

That is pretty much my year of runescape and probably a lot of you out there as well.

LOL Runefest thats freaking discusting. I would rather go to a high school musical festival.

Anyway. $40,000 worth of gold at 0.7... earlier in the year it was 0.5 but ye at 0.7 thats what 57142m in 6 months? You must be damn good.

My runescape year... Pretty boring... 95 prayer was probably the only highlight I haven't been playing much

 

yeah like I said we had the money for runefest and tbh it was alright, it wasn't just people talking about runescape the whole time we stayed in a place with 3 other guys and they never talked about runescape but you would always meet this one person who wouldn't shut up about the game and were like level 60 on runescape

 

I call bullshit personally, that's alot of gold, and unless your going to tell me you sit on a PC for 6+ hours a day, everyday, I don't buy it

 

you can call bs but idc, and you don't need to play for hours, maybe a couple hours every day but the game's fun and with staking it is really easy to make money especially when you PID and 4x your stakes

 

My Runescape year: Recovered an account, lost all the new money on it via scammers, joined an RSPS got mod in a month.

Wow man that is a epic amount of money to earn for just playing a game when you are 17 . So then do you still have much left? and surely you must have lost a awful lot in stakes?

I don't understand your question but if you mean did we enter a tournament at runefest, yes we were apart of the 5v5 us vs mods and got knocked out because we were noobs..
