I started at school, any tips for background or how to colour with shaded gfx?

 

heh, when he looks to right im thinking he is looking at a pjer.

And set at hillgiants.

start with clothes first then weapons jewlry and backround

 

I'd say background 1st, then the guys. Although i'm not an expert.

Hmm. how can people make those look good? i wonder. Wish i could draw

 

Well you should advance on your wirework first, then choose from 2-3 dif colros for each object..IE. skin, hair, hat, clothes... all that then color the darkest then the lightest to the lightest and dither the colors...

 

Not bad for a W.I.P.
Though you should get all the drawing done first though, Then colour it in.

Also, you might not want color, you could just make it all grey / black / white.

nice pixel you got there!!! id suggest adding a mage shooting death blast at the ranger

Want a tip?
Colour it in, in photoshop, just to give you an idea on what you want it to look like, the colour it in pixel-style using the one.. the only... Pencil Tool!

 

Clean your line work up. Dont worry about coloring until you finish the line work. Take proportions into your mind when drawing so you dont over do it.
