Thinking about a boxer staker...

Little background info first...
Well I've been a member for a little over a month, and made a tidy sum of 2MILL gold. I have heard that staking is possibly the best way to make money in Runescape. I have read several guides about staking, and learnt the basics, yet I have never even been to the duel arena, let alone dueled someone. I'm mostly in the dark about the whole staking thing.

Seems I do not really want to spend any money on weapons etc. I thought a strong as boxer staker would be the way to go. The stats that I was thinking of are as follows:

Attack: 60.
Strength: 1.
Defence: 75 - 80.
Ranged: ?
Magic: ?

Using this character, I would only box other people in the duel arena. My question to you is this: One, do you think this boxer would kick ass in the duel arena, and two, what ranged / magic should I get for optimal hitpoints/combat?

Also if you have had any past experiences with boxer stakers, I would love to hear them.

why would you want a one strength box staker...hitting ones -.- get 60 stregnth 80 defence 80 attack keep other stats at one. box with no weapon

 

it'd keep my combat down like heaps, and because of my def no other boxers would be able to hit me?

 

1 strength is a bit silly, low strength yes, that low no. If you you were going to make one of those insane low str high att and high defence pures your best off getting at least 20 strength. I'm making a boxer at moment which has 80 strength, 77 defence, 80 attack and 1 prayer, I'm getting it to 87 attack, 82 strength and 82 defence, not the greatest of boxers but I have been boxing a little way while i've been making this account... If anyone wants to be a serious staker you've got to have some flawed stats so you do get a good few stakes per hour. I suggest 80 attack, 60 strength, 80 defence. You will get stakes with those stats and you will be a pretty good boxer with it. It's up to you though, hope this helps a little. Don't think someone with low defence and high strength are an easy target in boxing, i've lost a good couple of boxing duels against rune pures as well, boxing will need luck more than anything.

 

you wont hit anything with 1 str get like 70 att 60 str 75 def

 

get 50 25 65 that will hit ok and no one would be able to hit you

 

get 70 attk-25-str-70 def- barrows pure with whip, definitly kick ass

 

70-50-80

 

just get str up to atleast 25

 

i would go wish 60att 40str 70def not to low lvl not to high keep range mage and pray 1 if your a to low lvl ppl dont stake ova 200k very oftern so u dont make very much momney quickly...even tho u got high def but low str u can still lose to rune pures ect. as they hit oftern 4-6's and the ocasonal 11-12 they will drain your hp fast but in lil amounts and as your str is low u will onli bee hitting 3-5 but a fare few 0's

 

i wouldnt box unless you know how to x log, any high stakes you enter you will more than likely get logged....

 

I'm pretty sure they fixed the X-log. I've done tons of high stake boxing recently and no one has X-logged. It used to be click on main menu but that's been fixed.
