If you chose the name a week ago, it should be ready in about 3 weeks

 

I know it takes 28 days after creation but I technically made the account 2 months ago, which is why I'm not sure whether it's ready to transfer or not.

Please only answer if you've experienced this exact situation You could definitely be right though.

Choosing the name is part if the process of creating an account, the account isn't fully created until you pick the name.

Since you picked the name a week ago, it should be ready in 3 more weeks.


No I haven't been in this EXACT situation, but this is how it works.

 

You could definitely be right, but there is no way of knowing for sure unless you programmed/have seen the code yourself or if you experienced this situation (made an account, waited at least a couple days to put the name on, put members on right after you set the name, and saw if you had to wait 28 days for a name change, or less than 28 days).

If I had to make a guess (which is what you are doing), I would say that the account has 2 weeks until the name is ready to transfer.

Instead, I provided everyone with information that they can use to determine for themselves whether or not the name is ready to transfer. I also asked that people come forward if they know whether the name should be ready to transfer or not, from personal experiences.

Posting your opinions won't help, even if you post them twice. However, if you do know for sure whether the name can be transferred or not, please let me know and you'll be able to get yet another post count from my thread.
