After getting constant offers to buy my Username I have "Law Rune" ingame for 50-200M which I just laugh at because I don't really need the coins.

I thought I would post on here as prompted by a friend to see how far I could potentially push before considering giving up my Original name.

I've been advised to trade on the basis of 50% before and after to me, before I change to avoid scammers.

None will be willing to purchase the name now because it will most likely become free soon. Sadly you've made the mistake of informing not only everyone on Sythe but Jagex themselves of your user name and the intentions you have.

 

I'm not worried, I clearly stated no real money to be exchanged, i've had clearance that i will be able to trade for 07 coins

 

Its not against the rules to sell names for gp, but he does want half of the money before putting the name on a fresh acc LMFAO

 

Although you say no real money will be exchanged Jagex won't see it that way. The intention of selling your in-game name for profit within their game still is a discouraged and an offence. They wouldn't care that it's just for 2007 gold because to them it's against the rules and is a form of real world trading.

 

Looks like the J Mod that mentioned it isn't illegal but not supported won't be very popular then.
