d003r's Middleman Application: Getting Proof's

Welcome to my Middleman thread.

Before something happened with Sythe (I left before it), I had something like 700 posts and was a member for a year, I don’t expect any of you to believe me, just for those who like to have faith trust me on that account (if it makes you feel any safer.)

Now I’ve come back there are a lot of good MM’s around, a lot more then when I was here, and if I don’t get a MM then that’s completely fair enough, I totally understand why.

However my first reason for MM’ing was because I was involved in trades, and yes I have been scammed before going first to people, I only had 1M and I tried to buy a pin when the guy scammed me, I got the last laugh scaring him on MSN about his girlfriend.

You may ask why I am going to MM now since I don’t play RS anymore. It’s a simple answer. School Holidays are here (yes I’m only 15) and I’m bored sitting here all day doing nothing. Sythe popped into my head and after playing a few other games to death, I figured I’d give the game that was so good to me throughout my earlier years another shot.

But d003r, why would you want to MM if you don’t play RS? Well, another answer is I love gaining peoples trust. I’ve become an admin on most forums I visit regularly, in games and generally. I get a good feeling out of helping people, and so I thought I’d give it a try here.

I see some applications around with many vouches but I do believe they are poorly formatted, and childish in some instances. What people look for in a MM is keeping yourself cool, calm, collected and in control. I’m not pushed around by anybody, especially a person behind a screen, I am assertive and I will not take shit (excuse the French) from anybody getting annoyed with me or the other party during a trade.

I have MSN, I have AIM and I have YAHOO, I use Pidgin (a multi-client application) so contacting me is no problem. I have everything setup before I even made this application to MM, so I am well prepared before and in a trade (always comes in handy to have an auto-screen capture ready.)

I will video record trades if asked to also, just for added certainty and also to back myself up of any claims made against me.

Now onto the whole ‘scamming’ business, I won’t lie I did see the benefit of being ‘powerful’ on Runescape and I did actually understand why people scammed (although being strongly against it) Now, I honestly don’t see the point. If you would like some reasons on why I won’t scam:

1) I do not care how much money I have, how many rare’s I can get or whatever else.
2) I do care about respect, and about trust, and I pride myself on delivering it on every instance of my life.
3) I know what it’s like to be scammed, I actually cried after I was scammed of my Santa Hat once (back when they were 300k). Yes, I CRIED about pixels. It shames me to say it.
4) My final point, I have a girlfriend. You may ask why this relates to anything, my response would be: She’s changed my life, she has made me such a better person, and I thank God every night and every Friday at mass for having her in my life. I believe in karma, and if I were to scam it would come back and bite me, I would kill myself if it was my girlfriend who I lost because of a game.

So in summary, I know what I’m doing. If that’s what you are looking for in a Middleman, then go ahead and contact me. I’d love to help you out.

I’m on for Australians, that was my motto for MM’ing in the past: “Doing it for the Aussies” because their were no trusted Middlemen back in those times.

I won't come into every thread and spam asking to MM, I may PM when I feel the need to do so. However I hope people did read this and understand it enough to give me a chance.
