Half Wine is currently stable between Red and White.

It's the second rarest item of Runescape.

It's an easy way to store alot of value in one item that has a low trade price.

If you think it's hard upgrading from lower phats to higher phats, adding a half wine to the deal will always make it work.

If its between red and white, why would anyone pay over 600usd when they can buy red/white for ~300usd and trade it for wine ingame?

Because the trade price of Wine is way lower than the one of Red. Since this forum works on a ''$ + Trade Price for Item'' system, it's only natural for the buyer to pay more IRL money for Wine than Red.

 

To make his point clear to you, he's saying that he could just go buy a white for $300 and trade it EASILY for a half wine and then he'd have one for ~$500 less than your asking, that's what he meant.

My response is this, considering how much white will be worth in pure rsgp once free trade comes around, 300$ is a very cheap price.

Best of luck selling. In regards to the replys that the wine is overpriced, the payment is for 88m trade price + the current "street" of the wine. For buying a white, its closer to 600m trade price + the street price. The 500m+ difference in trade price accounts for the 300$+ difference in RWT sale price.
