    Item Database?

Maybe we can make a sql based Item database where members can add items they think should be in the game, from there we can delete all the silly ones, keep the serious ones and make art and incorporate it into the game, any suggestions :D

Nah people not interested in the game's success will just spam it with crappy items. They will be massive pains in the ass. Better if a group devoted to it comes up with the items.

If people want to help they should be able to just suggest it on a forum of some sort.

"Opening the door to everyone means that people who hate you are going to come in." - Exactly as my professor always said. If you let everyone help with the database, then you will get a lot of people who just for the heck of it will ruin it all.
Sythe, or a Mod should handpick 5-15 dedicated people to come up with the basic item database, then later add in quest items, higher leveled items and so on.
I would strongly disagree just starting out blindly right now because you have no idea what time setting this is going to be in because to me it seems either Medieval, Medieval Fantasy, or Rome/Greek, there is a big difference in the everyday items that were used for each different time period/setting, also you do not know how far out crazy you could go with the items, if its a Medieval Fantasy you might include say DRAGON Items, yet if its a Rome/Greek setting that item will completely and utterly just 'FAIL' in that setting.
