    Yeah, I can provide proof of purchase for every game except for 1 or two I bought on D2D and activated via steam (because those wouldn't be affected anyways).

    I'll give a screenshot list of games to any serious buyers, with proof that its a real screenshot of my account.

    I've got PMs from a Moderator in my inbox saying completely differently. As long as I use a middleman, and both have seen proofed SS it's fine to hold out on SS until a serious buyer asks.

    I updated with list just to make it easier and hopefully sell faster.

    How does it not come with Starcraft II if it's on the list? I thought that was the whole reason people sold steam accounts is because they couldn't sell old games without doing so?

    I'll qualify my question by saying I'm new to the site and PC gaming. Just looking for a good way to get some used games to kill time with while I wait for BF3 and SWTOR to come out.

    How safe is buying a Steam account like this? I don't mind paying a fair price for someone's batch of used games, but at the same time I don't want to shell out a couple hundred and then just have it the account revoked or anything crazy either.

    you can add it as a shortcut. you click it in steam and it will find the executable file and run it. both Starcraft 2 and PES 2011 are not steam games. the account cannot be revoked if you have the original owners steam emails/ proof of purchase and steam support account if they have one.

    Like the above poster said, I just use them as shortcuts, and I didn't feel like readding them for some SS> (as sometimes Steam likes to take way to long just to add a shortcut, heh)

    As far as how safe it is, it all depends on the seller. When buying just make sure you get proofs of purchase (which would be emailed to the Steam account holder) and have them tell you their old email + the 6 digit security number thingy. If they're not willing to do that, they're not a legitimate seller. (or their selling a stolen or resell account)

    You can write a steam support ticket and get back your money from RO2 because it's still (atm) on "Pre-Purchase" which means that if can be refunded the amount given (and save some bucks).

    And after that sale the account with all receipts (which might/recommended be posted into the 1st post with hidden name and credit card info, only the price, game name and date that was purchased). Ahh, and all transactions made from the Steam Wallet (as I can see was used to purchase TF2 items) incl. scans of the retail keys (from the retail boxes; pictures of them + pictures of the discs + pictures of the game guide/manual) added into the account mentioned with "ACQUISITION METHOD" -> Retail.

    It's way too late to get a refund for RO2, normally takes 3-5 days and it is slated to release sometime today. There are no retail purchases except for HL1 which is so old I'd never find that box. Not sure what else you're trying to say here...

    He's making the assumption that all the games you've purchased were activated on Steam with retail keys because he sells them on this forum. The concept of using a credit-card or paypal is as strange to him as spell checking.

    His objective is to overwhelm you. He wants you to think you're required to provide a buyer with a comprehensive list of every form of proof of purchase you've ever made as a way of scaring you off. You aren't required to do that.
