Self-Vouching Dispute

Vouching for somebody you know in real life and not making that clear in your vouch is considered self-vouching, and is a bannable offence.

I don't understand why I was banned for self-vouching. I met up with a guy in library, sold him my bank which is on his vouch thread. Met up with him again later as I wanted to buy some back since I had runescape withdrawl.. ended up buying more back the next day to get a partyhat and some other stuff..then I made a vouch thread as I got home and he vouched for both instances..

Now if I knew him because of that, then shouldn't every irl trade be considered self-vouching if they don't state it?

I called him my mate because he's pretty chill.. we talked and stuff about places in Colombia where we met up at. I wouldn't consider us friends at all.. known him for a week know and haven't contacted him since.

So I'm not asking for an unban really.. I'm just asking to rethink that and maybe rephrase the rules.. an unban would make sense in my eyes but if you have a reason please explain.
