Scammed by Won-Gold for 1b RS3 GP

So basically, Won-Gold added me on his alternate skype, live:won_gold_gold.

Asking to buy entire stock of 4b.

I told him that I couldn't sell the entire stock though he persisted. We agreed that he would buy 1b rs3 for $230 via Paypal.

He pmed me from his account on Sythe, here is an image of the pm.



*NOTE* This is where the scam began. Notice he adds an a to my skype name- slimerta, changing it to slimertaa. Somehow he thought this scheme would make it look like I was trading an imposter, as you can see in the skype convos. However, the text that he copied from our Skype conversation is identical to to the real conversation, he simply change the name.

So I traded him the 1b rs3 after receiving this PM from his Sythe account, and he accepted it. There is proof he accepted it in the skype convo I had with his first skype, the one which he copied the text from for the PM.

Below is a screenshot of him saying he received the 1b and the pastebin linked below is of the FULL conversation I had with him on the first skype that he contacted me with and PMed me from.

So as you can see in the pastebin file, immediately afterward he says that he has an order for $550 on playerauctions, and that he needs me to send another 1b so we can do the trade all at once.

At this point I got suspicious, because why wouldn't he just send the payment at once? So I went to his profile and noticed that the skype he was using wasn't his listed one, but I still knew it was the same guy because he copy/pasted our skype convo into his sythe pm. Just for precaution, I asked him to add me on his listed Skype - won_gold_gold, not live:won_gold_gold.



This skype added me and immediately began saying that I traded an imposter. Though, further into our conversation, he begins acknowledging that his Sythe pm was altered, and told me to look at it a few times, asking to explain himself. This was said during a conversation with his listed Skype, the one on Sythe, won_gold_gold. This whole thing just seems really far-fetched to me, and I truly wasn't expecting it from someone with such positive feedback.

It is an elaborate scheme to make me think I traded an imposter and I'm not sure if it was because I'm a newcomer to this site, or not. As you can see in the skype pastes he was messaging me from both skypes referencing the same situation and I believe he was trying to confuse me by typing from both concurrently.

If the pastebin files and images referencing the convos are not enough I can take extensive screenshots of our entire skype conversation on both of his accounts in order to verify the authenticity of them.

 

It's the skype impostor scam. It's basically a user that creates identical skype usernames as both the buyer and the seller. Then they talk to both of you at the same time. When you request a PM, they ask the trusted user to PM you and hope you don't realize the difference in the skype names. It was your responsibility to make sure the PMs matched 100%, his skype and yours didn't.

Won's skype is not live:won_gold_gold. He didn't say it had live in the PM. It doesn't say it has live in any of his threads:
