My dilemma

So I recently bought an 80 dunge account. The stats atm are as follows:

Attack: 45
Strength: 74
Defense: 1
HP: 63
Prayer: 1
Summoning: 1
Dunge: 80 with 200k tokens for my rapier.

Now this leads to my dilemma. What should I do with this account. At first I thought to make him into a staker. Not raise his prayer, raise his defense, and own with a rapier. Then I started to think that a lot of people don't like to stake with weapons on, and just box, so that might not be great. I wouldn't want to give him boxing stats, and end up never using the rapier, as that was the main focus in this purchase.

My next idea was to make a turmoil pure. This is always an account that I've wanted to have, but if I raise his prayer I will never be able to make him a beast ass staker again. Also, if I make a turm pure and get bored, I can eventually make him a zerker.

What do you guys think I should do? I'm leaning towards turmoil pure atm, and maybe just make/buy another account for boxing.

And can any experienced stakers out there enlighten me on staking with main hand on? Are there big stakes happening with a weapon allowed? Do most people use staff of light? Will I have a distinct advantage with a chaotic, or will most stakers have one too?

Is that a common thing now? Seems like someone "whip staking" would be hesitant to duel someone with 80+ dunge. At least I would be. Then again that's why you get names that are hard to look up. Have not staked since it came back so I don't know what all the crazy kids are doing now.

How would I fair against people who decided to use staff of light? Should I use one too and switch to rapier when its out?

 

someone who's whip staking and actually using a whip will call you a dungfag if you have 80+ dung when you challenge them.

and people with staff of light will tank your rapier out.. you're better off using a staff of light, then changing to the rapier when the 60sec runs out.

 

The DUel arena is pretty much dead now so i would go for a rapier pure account, and once you get bored with it aim for turmoil

I would stake, more money to be made than with pking. Then you can easily buy a pure with turmoil or have the funds to get 95 prayer.

The solution to SOL is having spec off.
Sure, people will be pissed if they think you have a whip but it's fair game, there's no staking option that says "whip only" or something like that.

You could easily make bills with 80 att 60/70 str 80 def 80ish hp.

 

You were going so well until you got to telling him the stats.

He is right about loads more money to be made staking, and if you have a whip stake, special is off so nobody uses staff of light, because the special is the thing that helps.

But they he went onto your stats, and gave you some generic boxer stats, but you are a whip/rapier user, in which case defence is less of a priority, Concentrate on high attack and strength, and just keep defence at 60-70, that way you will tear the duel arena apart in whip/rapier stakes.

I'm making a rapier staker also, so can anybody confirm what this guy is saying? Would 99-99-60 be the way to go? That way defense does not show on high scores and you have beast attack and str?

Would 80-80-45 or 80-80-35 be alright to start?

 

80 att 99 str 99hp 60 def is 97 cb I think. If you had an 'old' main around that combat level with balanced stats, prayer, low hp (etc) then you could make similar names and hope they look up the noob account. Idk. I'm in the process of making said account at the moment. Hopefully it goes alright.

Alright, so its decided. I'll make him 80-80-40 to start, and just keep going up until eventually 80-99-60.
