Autoclicker stops when disconnect from vps

So I have a vps and im autoclicking on it since my internet is aids. I connect using remote desktop connector. It works fine, but if I close remote desktop connector, the autoclicker will stop running. Why is that? Why isn't it running regardless if the vps is always running?
