Sythe is a black market forum, and like all forums of this niche, there are many scammers.

I think that Sythe needs an undercover team. Just a small group of people who get a special user group on their main account, and are able to create multiple accounts. They can go on other accounts with no vouches, and go to buy stuff from other members, always go first, and see who scams them, and instantly ban those people.

Maybe when people donate to Sythe, the money can go to these people so that they can test to see who scams. It would help make Sythe a slightly better place.

For example, say Farcast was an undercover agent. He makes a new account on Sythe called say IPKQUICK. He goes to a thread where a guy is selling tricks. Farcast pays the guy, and then goes to take the trick. Before the trick is done, Farcast will tell him who he actually is, and ask for a refund. Because most scammers would have logged out by this point, stealing Farcast's money. If the guy's a scammer, then Farcast may not get a refund (the money was Sythe's donation money), but he gets banned. If he's not, then Farcast gets a refund and everybody is happy.

It's kind of hard to explain, but what do you think of this idea?

No support, just does not seem like a very good concept and sythe does not take paypal donations.

No support, you're just feeding the scammers by giving them money, they will just create new accounts and you will let them scam you again.

I disagree. No matter how hard you try you will never get rid of all the scammers.

It's a waste of money. Most scammers will scam before they been here long, so once they get banned, they can just proxy on here again and do it. You're basically just giving money away.

We don't need a secret police of sorts. Trading comes down to common sense. If it's too good to be true - it often is.

I kind of think we should have people adding New MM's and telling them to scam with me ect making them admit to being a scammer then ban but cost free?

I doubt anyone is going to do that for free, and if they do, they just want mod.

And I guess this was a bad idea. I just thought it would help a bit, guess the majority thinks otherwise. :p

Why would no one do it for free? It's not their personal money, it's money that was donated by other members to Sythe.org.

The idea is good, really good. But it's probably not gonna happen, it's too complicated.

No.. Lets say Farcast was one, and he went to buy the trick, as you said in your example. Lets say he's not a scammer, Farcast buys a trick that he might not even want. Lets say he is a scammer, Farcast loses his $.50 to the scammer. It's kind of like paying for moderator in a sort of sense.

I meant about adding mm's on msn.

Time is money. Unless you want mod, you won't care enough to help in that way. You can say what you want, but at least 95% of people who try to help this site want mod.

This is a terrible idea. If you're worried about getting scammed just use a middle man or do some research on the user. Usually doing one of these will help you know if the user you're trading is a scammer or not. If you're too lazy to do either you deserve what is coming.

The money donated to Sythe is to help the website to stay running, if we use it to literally GIVE it to scammers (who could make new accounts) it would be rather counter-productive.

    Horrible idea.
Yeah, let's just fund these scammers further.
    Makes 100% sense.
They would just end up ban evading.
    No support.

It would just be a waste of Sythe.org donations by feeding the scammers.

yea does seem like a rather big waste of cash. Even though if it may be considered spam if someone is buying/selling with an active spam report just warn the people trading with him about it.
